You know what I drink when I need a good ol’ pep in my step, when my To-Do list is getting too long, when ? That’s right. I drink the coffee made special by those over at Bones Coffee Company.
Full disclosure: This is not a paid promotion. I don’t know anybody over at Bones. I just like their coffee, and I’ll continue to promote it until they either send me some for free or send a cease and desist letter. Whichever comes first. So with that being said, thank you Bones Coffee for helping me through this busy month.
Fall is upon us, which in my case means a more hectic schedule than usual. Consequently, this means I don’t have a fully polished article for you all this week. It’s still coming (and I think it’ll be a pretty good one), but I wouldn’t want to publish anything less than the highest quality. It’s what you, the people, deserve.
So, instead, I wanted to share some things that I’ve been reading that I think deserves the highest praise. Seriously, these works are great—the type of writing I aspire to. Do yourself a favor, grab a big mug of Bones Coffee Company coffee, sit back, and check each of these out.
Car Number Eight
In this story, Maegan gives us a peek into a delightfully absurd game show. Think Saw with more comedy and less gore. Bonus: it’s interactive.
Snip
Brandan is such a great writer. He has the uncanny ability to elicit the most visceral reactions from me. In fact, I had the pleasure of listening to him read another one of his stories where I almost passed out. That may not sound like a compliment, but believe me it is! Honestly, I recommend all his stuff…if you dare.
Happy the man
If you’re short on time, this is definitely the one to read. I won’t say anymore because I don’t want to spoil it, but David takes the reader on a satisfying ride. In fact, you’ll probably want to ride it again after the first go-through.
OMword. “Snip” has me feeling all sorts of things, not the least of which is gratitude that my piercings are few!
Dude... this made my day. Thank you so much, Matt!
